If you encounter a timeout error during the installation process, preventing the successful completion of the setup, there are a few potential solutions you can try:

* Access Permission Issues
One common cause of this error is a lack of access permissions to the installation directory. The error message suggests that the folder "C:\AIEnhancer\" does not have the necessary permissions for the installation to proceed. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Delete the Existing Folder: Navigate to the "C:\AIEnhancer\" directory and delete the folder entirely. This will ensure that any existing permission conflicts are eliminated.
  2. Re-select the Installation Directory: When prompted during the installation process, choose a different directory for the software to be installed. Ensure that you have full read and write permissions for the new location.

* Firewall and Antivirus Interference
In some cases, your firewall or antivirus software may be interfering with the installation process, causing timeouts or other issues. To address this potential problem, try the following:

  1. Temporarily Disable Firewall and Antivirus: Most security software provides options to disable protection during installation processes temporarily. Consult the documentation or settings of your specific firewall and antivirus programs to find these options.
  2. Proceed with Installation: With the firewall and antivirus temporarily disabled, attempt the installation again. Once the installation is complete, remember to re-enable your security software.

If you continue to experience issues after trying these solutions, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

The following methods may help to improve the speed.

  • Upgrade your hardware. A powerful computer with a high-end CPU, ample RAM, and a dedicated graphics card can significantly boost video processing speeds.
  • Having an NVIDIA graphics card allows you to use the TRT acceleration feature (Settings > Advanced Settings and turn on NVIDIA TensorRT Acceleration).
  • Adjust the face detection accuracy parameter in the settings to prioritize speed (Settings > Model Settings).
  • Provide feedback to our staff, and we will optimize the AI model.

In the event that some license plates are not recognized and consequently not blurred during the video processing, there are two methods you can employ to resolve this issue:

Method 1: Adjust Detection Accuracy Settings

  1. Click on the Menu button located in the upper right corner of the application interface.
  2. Select the "Settings" option from the dropdown menu.
  3. Navigate to the "Model Settings" section.
  4. Scroll down to the "License Plate Settings" sub-section.
  5. Locate the "Detection Accuracy" slider and reduce its value.

Lowering the Detection Accuracy threshold can help the software detect more license plates, including those with less distinctive features or variations. However, it's important to strike a balance, as setting the value too low may result in misidentifying non-license plate objects as plates.

Method 2: Utilize the Fixed Blur Function

If you prefer a more targeted approach, you can use the Fixed Blur function to manually blur any license plates that were initially missed by the automatic detection process.

  1. Locate the specific frames or sections of the video where license plates were not properly blurred.
  2. Use the Fixed Blur tool to draw rectangular regions over the unblurred license plates.
  3. The software will then apply a blur effect to those designated areas, ensuring that all license plates are effectively obscured.

By employing these methods, you can fine-tune the license plate detection and blurring process to achieve optimal results.

You can adjust the detection accuracy parameter in the settings (Settings > Model Settings). The smaller the value of Detection Precision under Face Settings, the more faces will be detected.

You can also supplement by using the fixed-position blurring feature.

You can adjust the detection accuracy parameter in the settings (Settings > Model Settings). Increase the value of the Detection Precision under Face Settings. The larger the value, the more accurate the face detection.

The All Faces option will automatically detect and blur all faces in the video.

The Assign Faces option will scan the video and list all the detected faces. You can then choose which specific faces to blur.

The Free-from Selection option will allow you to manually select the faces you want to blur in each video scene. You can add these faces to the blur list, giving you full control over the final result.
